“Talk About Local is a project to give people in their communities a powerful online voice. We help people communicate and campaign more effectively using the web to influence events in the places in which they live, work or play”

It's always been my hope that this website has been able to bring people from the local area together, to make changes for the good and where possible inform people with local information that you wouldn't get from the sentinel. Think of it more of a virtual pub or hair dressers rather than a news paper.

So in saying that, if anyone would like to nominate the site for one fo the Talk About Local awards this weekend, then the MyTunstall team would be really grateful.

Not only would it be recognition of the work we've put into the site, but also for you the readers and more importantly the contributors of the site.
