Well what can we say about the kiddies play area other than it is a bloody disgrace, to think that someone has taken their pet dog into this enclosure and allowed it to crap everywhere, who is the animal the dog or its owner. A lot of time and effort was put into the open-space to get it developed and a play area built for the kids and it looks like some sad individuals are trying their hardest to spoil this for us all. Yet again I have been on to the council and asked for the mess to be cleaned up reference 1772350. I have also asked if the dog fouling signs that were stencilled on the footpaths be done again and the possibility of two more dog poo bins to be put in the open-space reference 1772370.

http://www.bankeyfields.co.uk/forum/tunstall-councillor-megan-ryans-visi... Hiya Bryn Thanks for doing all that you do. To be honest I think a lot of residents whose kids use the park owe you a lot of thanks for the way you patrol it on your dog walk and get it sorted.
The young guy as he was reported by the Mums is an absolute cretin and I hope he can be caught and punished. Why should our little uns dodge shit just to get from the slide to the swings. If you take your kids to the park, and see glass or dog poo, please phone stoke on call 01782 234567, store it in your phones ready.

More pooh stories..
We all need to report matters as such, but we have to take a bit of responsibity and as I have done in the past and will continue to do so for my kids and the other kids is pick up others peoples rubbish within the park. To many times I have picked up dog mess from within the kidspark. Leaving it for a week or few days until the council pick it up is something I cannot do due to fear of a kid falling/treading in it. The same applies for rubbish. If we all pick up a bit of rubbish on out travels as oppose to leaving it then the whole place will look better. It's okay to moan about it and say this and report that but there needs to be a minor personal responsibility to make up for the other people who don't give two hoots asnd throw what ever on the floor etc. It's not very pleasant but I know I'm doing my little bit.
The matter of dog fouling in the playground is likely to occur by the lad in there the other nght about 2030 clearly letting his dog run around. He certainly did'nt use a torch and it was pitch black and no doubt let his dog crap. He headed off to Summerbank Rd without a care in te world. next time I will be having a polite word.
I've noted the loud mouth idiots who are play on the swings and slide after dark also let a dog run loose. Hopefully they'll tread in it them selves or roll in it was pratting about and ruin there best shell suit and kickers (or what ever kids wear today!!).
Extra signs won't make a difference as responsible owners pick their dog poo up and people who don't care will still let there dog crap wherever no matter how many signs are put up. I'll see if the council can send the wardens to catch the poppers but the whole thing is a problem in the glorious Stoke-on-Trent.
I'll move as much glass as
I'll move as much glass as they can throw as in most cases I can pick it up without injury, but if you thinking I picking up dog poo, and today there was just so much of it, you can think again.
Jill Clarke of S-o-t council is arranging for the area parky to do the rounds on our park. As to confronting the kids in the evening, is it really worth it? Aren't you better off just phoning the anti social hot line. Your not taking police resources away from anyone else, as this team just deal with issues of this nature 0800 561 5610, plus if you report it, we can build a case for better support.
Some of the mums on the park today were happy to let their kids run around in the park run around the poo, with no shoes on!!
