Mini Roundabout alterations updates + Adoption issues

For anyone whose had problems on the mini rounabout between John Rhodes Way and Spitfire Way, with ice being caused by water flowing down from the open space.

Due to the lack of drainage at the bottom of the hill, water collects on the roundabout. However, something that I didn't realise is the roundabout itself doesn't have a drain.

So water runs down from the openspace, Spitfire, John Rhodes Way and pools on the roundabout and slowly trickles down to the Reginald Mitchell roundabout.

I met with Cllr Megan Ryan and two ladies from the council's Northern Implentation Team a few weeks ago, to take a look at the problem.

We looked at the problems, and some solutions were put forward, such as adding more drainage to the bottom of the hill, and adding a drainage grid to the roundabout.

However none of these issues can be looked at until the estate is adopted by the council.

So accidents like James this morning are likey to contiune for some time.

Gets your pens ready.
