Weekly Update
Dear all.
I've not made a comment for a week or so, so I thought I'd update you with what is happening around the area. I have noticed that there have been an increase in calls to the area involving motorcycles on the footpaths and greenways. If anyone sees them, or knows who they are, please let us know. I'm pretty sure they're local, so it will just take one call from someone who sees where they're coming from or going to, and we can take steps to prosecute offenders, or seize their motorbikes.
A concerned resident asked me if someone had been the victim of a theft of their mobile phone on the estate. I can't find any record of this, however, three youths were arrested in Victoria Park, Tunstall for the theft of several mobile phones, all of whom have been charged. All the phones were stolen from teenagers. If you have children who have phones, ask them to keep them in their pockets, and not on show, as this seems to be the trigger for the thefts.
For your information, there is a residents meeting on the 23rd April 2009 at the Community Centre in Goldenhill.

Do you know....
Hi Glyn, thanks for the update.
Do you know if were all welcome to the residents Association, as I'd like to go.
Whats the best number to ring for the biker 0300 123 44 55 or the Anti Social Behaviour Hotline for Stoke on Trent 0800 561 5610?
Cheers
Matt
Residents Meeting
I will check that it's OK to go to the meeting - I can't see a problem as it is a public meeting but I'll check out of courtesy.
With regards to the motorbikes on the park area, if you feel they are dangerous then there is no problem with you calling 999. If you are just calling to give information, then ring 0300 123 44 55 and inform the operator.
Thanks
Glyn
