Recent Thefts

Dear All.
Just a quick message. There has recently been a few thefts from gardens. This has mainly been thefts of pedal cycles that people have left "round the back" thinking they will be safe. Unfortunately, some have woken up to find their property missing. We have made arrests in the area for some thefts of this nature, but please take this as a reminder to make sure your property is safe and secure.
We have free shed alarms and cycle locks, as well as property marking pens at Tunstall Police Station, so if you require anything, please email me, or pop in and ask for what you need. We also have signs to attach to your sheds and garages to deter would-be thieves.
Once again, the Bankeyfields estate is relatively crime free, and this is thanks to the vigilance of the residents, and the fact that you are calling in to report suspicious matters. Thank you.
