Recent Van Thefts.

Dear All,
Further to earlier entries, I can confirm that there have been three vans broken into on the estate.
It is important to know that this is not a crime wave, but seems to be an opportunist trying his or her luck, and unfortunately this is the area they targeted. As with previous incidents, people have been arrested very quickly following crimes thanks to information given to the Police by the public. I would ask that if anyone has any information about these or any other crimes, please call us, or send me a quick email.
Many people have asked me how to best secure their vehicles, and I have to say that the best advice has already been listed by Web Monkey.
Please remember that you live on a very safe and secure estate, that is pretty much crime free. Lets keep it that way, and keep an eye out for one another. We don't mind coming to the area 12 times a day if residents think something is suspicious - what we don't want is people saying after the event that they "didn't think they should ring for something so trivial". It may mean the difference between catching a thief or letting them go.
