Reginald Mitchell Way: time trials - Are motorbikers above the law?

Welcome to summer. At last after 4 years it's kind of arrived. With it comes plenty of sun, bbq's and Motorbikes.

Imagine - you have a magnificent machine that can do 0-90mph in 4 seconds, so what do you do? Do you take a trip down the A50 to donnington? Nope!

Do you go for a spin down the a500 where your allowed to do 70mph? Nope!

You go tear arsing down a 40mph / 30mph road, with a concealed entrance and know problems with under powered cars pulling out. Causing more noise than a falling comet, on it's way to put an end to the dinosaurs.

What can we do?
1. If you hear the bikes doing their laps, call the police 0300 123 4455 to log the offenses, they've been on our side over cars doing more than 30 over the roundabout so don't hesitate to call.

2. Don't presume someone else will ring.

3. Call the Sentinel, they are aware of the issues, so they might be interested in the story.

4. Post on the site your complaint. Lots of people read it, so you can gather support.

The police are trying to educate bikers, I saw about 4 motorcycle officers talking to bikers at the Sandyford motorbike shop on Saturday. Did it do any good? You tell me.

Pedant

Pedant is the word you are looking for. " Person who overates or parades learning or knowledge, or insists on strict adherence to formal rules ". So yes pedantic will do just nicely. Oh by the way some good news coming your way soon on the RMW roundabout. Wink
