Did anyone read the article on the Sentinel’s web site regarding speed cameras? It looks like speed cameras could be axed from some Staffordshire roads following a review of their impact on road safety. Let’s hope that if any are taken out that they might make use of them on R.M.W. I am sure if the council can adopt the estate, the estate would be more than happy to adopt a couple of speed cameras from the highways authority. I am sure they would be a welcomed addition to the area.

I read it with interest and also thought there might be a surplus cameras, especially from the trentham/stone stretch of road.

Have been trying to access left at around 8:15 am this week to take Missus to work. Hmmm not used to it, being on the road this early at the "roundabout of death"
OMG, it seems like they have diverted the M6 down here...It is obviously a massive increase of traffic flow caused by the Northern Bypass. Even the A500 is at a stand still in the area, at this time, caused by traffic filtering on the slip road from the A50 ( Reg Mitch) onto the A500.
I just love it though, as the traffic zooms across the roundabout in a mad rush, they are all head to toe in queue before the next roundbaout....Twits [edited ;)]
And the council feels that there is no problem?
