Ruby Update

Afternoon, first i thought had better update you all with the latest news of Ruby as of today 27th April, having spoken to her dad about 30 minutes ago.

Ruby's blood counts have increased massively over the last few days and are near to levels where she will if all goes well be allowed to come home from the isolation unit at Alderhey this weekend, this is a remarkable turnaround in events in around a week

On another note this will also be the 1 year anniversary since she was diagnosed with a brain tumour, i can still remember the phone call i got from my brother informing me of the diagnosis, it was devsasting to hear just that she had a tumour nevermind the following diagnosis and prognosis that was to come!

In all our time during this process we have been supported by various bodies and some very kind individuals and we can not thank all those people themselves, we do not and can not see everything that has been done and organised. I wish to express my thanks on to every person i know who has helped in , that they can then hopefully pass thanks onto people they know who have supported and helped and so on and so on.

Ruby's immediate family can now concentrate on getting her fit and well enough to travel to America so as to continue onto the next leg of this journey.

Again thanks to all those i know personally and those i do not know personally.

Good news comes for bank holiday weekend although tinged with bad memories we must look forward.

Gordy
