MyTunstall has offered help local girl Sarah Millwood, from Summerbank Road, to promote her sky dive this month, in her attempt to raise awareness of the Alzheimers Society and also raise money for the cause.

Sarah a care assistant hopes her 10,000ft charity skydive over Shropshire will raise awareness and money for research into dementia.

The 22-year-old, of Summerbank Road, Tunstall, wants to support the charity because she has worked with people with the disease and experienced it in her family.

Sarah, a student at Keele University who works at Lawton Rise care home in Goldenhill, said: "I am hoping to raise at least £500 to help make people more aware of the illness and to help research a cure for it."

The skydive is this month (will get the exact date soon). To help Sarah with donations or sponsorship, email saz_babe@hotmail.co.uk or send her a PM via her My Tunstall profile page.
