State of the Paddock

Why have the contractors doing the road alterations parked there dumper truck and digger on the roundabout. Can anyone please tell me why the paddock has been converted into a make shift builders yard with adequate space to park these vehicles and then not use it. By the looks of things I think the next Bankeyfields campaign is going to be a fight to get the paddock returfed and put back to its former state. Would it not be a good idea for us to make a few tentative enquiries to the contractor to see what plans are in place for the paddock when they have finished the work or are we going to be left with an eye sore? What next Travellers!!!!!!!!! Rolling On The Floor

Digger parking

I noticed that when I came home too (and the digger isn't exactly parked very well!) No doubt the lazy driver couldn't be bothered to open the gates get out drive the digger in and then close the gates behind him.

I'm not surprised that its going to take 4 weeks on how slow they are doing it - every time I've been past they've been sitting in the van reading the paper or eating!!!!
