1000th Walk

We are celebrating our 1000th walk on Wednesday 9th June at 1:15pm at Treehouse Childrens Centre, Bentilee, with a walk around Berryhill Fields. We hope everyone will be able to make it for a lovely day.

New Website

We have a new website, www.closertohomewalks.org.uk. It has a new interactive map which can provide walkers directions you’re your house to the start of your walk.

New Stop Smoking Service
FSC, in conjunction with Vast, is now offering a stop smoking service starting Monday 14th June 2010, at port vale football club, 11.00am – 1.00pm. Be fitter healthier & smoke free- Call Elaine on 01782 831900 for more details

The info on the walking club is great,most probably can not manage this weekend we are busy trying to get a few jobs done,but I will note it for other weeks.I also noticed a small error on the dates for the Dougie Mac walk,the heading says 7th june,the date is right on the write up its just the heading.I really enjoy this website and I thank everyone who posts up such a lot of info its great.
