Telephone scam. Do I want to buy shares in Power Nano Tech? No thanks.
I've just had a telephone call from a firm (John Angus at Angus Investments) wanting to sell me shares in a company called Power Nano Tech.
The telephone call started asking me if I remembered the last conversation we had, offering me an investment, I missed out on the opportunity of making over £2500, however they had another good deal going, this time in a company called Power Nano Tech.
I then had a 15 min telephone demo about the company .
Anyway, they wanted me to invest in the stock they'd bought from the company in the US, at $1.50 per share, which are guaranteed to return $5 when they float on the American stock market next month.
For the entire duration of the call, I played along, and sounded interested and gullible. Just trying to get as much information out of them as possible.
So this so called company power nano tech has a website for the firm. www.powernanotech.com/. Now as a web designer one look at the website tells me someone through that together in less than a day. And for a company about to float on the stock market, they'd have a better offering than that. They'd be geared up for selling or marketing their product online, so anyway the crux is, the company is a fake.
Further investigating into Power Nano Tech, lead me to a page on the internet about the same company that rung me wanting to sell shares.

Summary
Even if Angus Investments are the real thing, which I doubt as Mr Angus sounds very West African rather than Scottish to me, although thats not to say he hasn't moved there, people should never ever buy shares or stock over the phone. Go to a certified stock broker, as they have a set of rules and standards that they must adhere to.
I could be wrong, if people have had these phone calls and have made money from them, I'd love to hear it. I doubt it though.
