If you are a TV fan, a useful site is

after signing up and giving your email address you can choose the channels you recieve on your normal telly and get a great free channel listing on you PC.

Also under the Channel on the left hand side if you click on 'watch' you get to view many channels live - not all channels but quite a few - limited to freeview channels I think. Found this very useful when my TV gave up the ghost recently.

Thanks, I use it all the time, it has loads of great features like

showing 9 hours worth of listings at a time

hovering the mouse over a program gives the exact start and end time as well as a description of the show

clicking a program title brings up a window with more info such as other peoples comments on a show as well as when it will be on again, and if you like this then you might like the following shows

the different colours indicate different categories blue for comedy etc according to the key given on the web page

hovering the mouse over the channel itself tells you what channel number its on on Sky, Freeview or Virgin

not to mention the live tv feature etc, etc
