My wife has just let me know about two men, that just came to the door.
They said they were from MEB, the company that supply the company who provide our services, and wanted the electric and gas numbers off the back of the bill.
When my wife said - shouldn't MEB have the number they were insistent then on seeing the bill.
They wanted to know if we'd received a discount earlier this year from them. They should know, surely?
Ding-aling-aling-ALING alarm bells ringing.
If they were genuine they'd not be doing door to door sales, trying to get sensitive numbers out of you.

I had a look at the bill and the numbers weren't on there!
I think they just wanted to see what price per unit we were paying so they could say they were cheaper. I stopped them 1/2 way through their speech, and said that i couldn't sign up before husband came in, - they were quite funny with me! Why didn;t i want to save money?? tey asked what time he was in and he came back at that time!
