Unattended cars warming up thefts

It's cold outside - but motorists should beware. Many are starting their vehicles up and leaving them, while the engine warms up and the windows defrost. Should any vehicle be stolen under these circumstances, the vehicle is not covered for theft by motor insurance. There is a liability on a policy-holder to take reasonable steps to protect their property.
