well we had a phone call this morning to say that the street was visited by seven trent water board work men on wednesday night.
didnt see them....
the call was to say there was NO leak where we had stated and that we should contact the council if we feel that there is a problem.
my reply was that there is a leak and that the men didnt look. and that i had a photo to prove there was a leak if she needed it.
"no" she didnt.
she would send someone out again to look, but it would be monday or tuesday.
my advice was that they should knock on our door and ill point it out.
the water leak is definitley running a little faster-
i knew that this wouldnt be a simple straight forward job. always drama .
Don't all be making a cuppa
Don't all be making a cuppa at half time tonight, you'll be disappointed.
Pretty disgraceful though, considering the prices we have to pay for the stuff of life.

water board man has seen the growing water leak today. and drawn a blue arrow on the pavement. to indicate to the hole digging/pipe fixing / hole filling workers i surpose.

today after coming home from work i had missed the hole in the road digging event.....
even the neighbours hadnt noticed that they had arrived,
perhaps i might spot them in the next few days. my camera is ready.
I think the main lesson that
I think the main lesson that should be learnt by everyone reading this, is get your self a can of blue spray paint, and just before you ring the water board, go out side and spray some giant blue arrows on the road where the problem is, so the semi sighted staff can find it.
Oh, by the way, there was talk of a hose pipe ban this summer. Maybe if the repairs department were a little more efficient in the early stages of repairs things wouldn't be too bad.
its happened again, iv come
its happened again, iv come back from work and the hole digging, leak mending, hole filling workmen have been and gone,
the leak and hole is no more.
