Help get rid of the mini moto morons from Bankeyfields openspace.
Bankeyfields Residents Association are asking people using the park and residents who close to the Bankeyfields park to report any motor bikes riding around the footpaths of the open space.
The miniature motor bikes are being rode by two teenage lads at fast speeds around the children park and on the path ways at high speeds.
We are asking you to immediately report their appearance using the Police non emergency number.
Simply dial 101 and report that the mini motos are being ridden in the Bankeyfields park off of John Rhodes Way, Tunstall.
The police want to catch these lads as they are driving dangerously, have no insurance, wear no helmets and are a Anti Social Problem that they are keen to come down on.
Whilst on the phone please feel free to mention that this is a reoccurring problem that Tunstall Police officers are aware of.

It's not just on the park
It's not just on the park areas. I saw one of them riding up Spitfire Way last night. I hadn't realised we had a problem with this until today. I'd heard high pitched motorbikes riding around the estate but never saw them.
Thanks for the info Red Girl,
Thanks for the info Red Girl, this all helps. If you or any Spitfire Wayers or Hurricain Grovers see them bolting for it again, could you give 101 a very quick ring.
If you mention the on going problem on Bankeyfields Park, and it looks like their making a break for it and their are officers trying to corell them it could really help.
W/M have phoned 101 but by
W/M have phoned 101 but by the time the police arrive they are long gone.
One of the "little darlings" lives in Chell Heath another lives on the Hoskins estate (both well known to police) who treat the roads and pathways as their own playing ground.
Its time the police had a crackdown on these nuisances.
And by the time you've
And by the time you've actually got through to 101 with all of the pre-recorded messages, they've gone!
Dead right, it needs a faster
Dead right, it needs a faster responce or a dedicated crackdown with punishment (after all they have no insurance or driving licences) as well as having the machines taken off them.
I thought I head these
I thought I head these machines around about similar times of each evening. If they're round again, I'll clock the times so at least we can pass some info on to the police.
With you on getting rid of
With you on getting rid of these, as we don't want any inicident children getting hurt over the park when these mini bikes are over there with no thought for smaller children.
Must say for some reason didn't hear them tonight! !!!!!!!
I do have to say though we did ring 101 the other night and gave up as couldn't get the phone answered although we did get through on Burslem police phone who put us through and were very helpful, and did send 2 police men out, 1 came up this estate and 1 came from Summerbank which was a good idea although the bikes disappeared before they arrived.
Agree with MattB that the more times people can ring the more chance that the police will come out or even do a regular hiding visit somewhere on the estate to catch them out.
We don't want to wait until someone is injured before something is done, so if anyone does hear them around please call.
Both of these idiots out
Both of these idiots out tonight tear arsing along the top path along the back of the school from Harry Hancocks.
Another point to pick up on is that the grass is so high they're not going tO spot little people until its to late.
Also there is nothing to stop these pair from getting access via hancocks. No barrier, no fencing to stop them as its all kicked down.
One of them at least was
One of them at least was going up Spitfire Way yesterday at around 4PM
Spoke to Andy Wootton today
Spoke to Andy Wootton today from Staffs Police. We need to keep the calls going to 101. If enough people ring it through, then the police can throw extra resources at the problem. Just ring 101 and tell them they want to report a sighting of the Bankeyfields mini moto. On going problem.
Tell the phone operator you don't want a visit from the police.
Come on Bankeyfields, lets pull together to get rid of these knob heads.
Also, we good do with putting
Also, we good do with putting some names to these lads to help the police narrow down where to head them off.
