Looks like the Police were forced to move two stray horses off of Reginald Mitchell way in the early hours of this morning, as the the horses have set up camp again in the "Paddock", the field as you pull onto the Bankeyfields Estate.
The Police have taped off the entrance to the field to keep the horses in and I'm assuming people out.
The hoofed duo were been kept in the top field along Holly Wall Lane, besides the Churchill Warehouse.
Last time the horses were here the field was churned the bits making it unusable. Resident Gorden Owen pointed out during a Bankeyfields Residents Association meeting that he doesn't let his dog run in the field any more because of risk of breaking a leg from the many divets left over.
Coucillor Martin Garner is making enquires on behalf of the Residents and horses. This may take some time as ownership of the horses needs to be established.
