HSBC to close it's Tunstall Branch

view counter

I noticed a sign in the window of the HSB Bank in Tunstall High St, they are closing the Tunstall Branch in September 2012.

So if you need a one to one you will have to go to Hanley.

This will result in another empty building in town and although it is a nice looking one I do not see it as being easy to fill by my way of thinking I can not see it as a shop so it would probably only be good for an office.

Any Ideas??.

On Wednesday there was a lot of activity/drilling/banging going on inside the bank, dont know if it is just the HSBC clearing the place out or is somthing else happening in there I wonder?.

I can imagine there's a lot

I can imagine there's a lot of infastructure they need to take away with them, such as computers, cabling, cctv, safes and so on. I don't know if it's to do with that.

What do you think of the buidling it'self? Good place for a shop? What shop would you like to see?
