Up close and personal with this monster 27th july 2008
i decided to get a bit close and this is a view east right into the warehouse, the offices are nearest, and are separate from the main building but covered by the same roof.

Removing stock piles of dried out soil to provide levels
The soil mounds have been created from the phase one works and this provides dry soil to create the final levels, the dump trucks have under inflated tyres to cope with the sodden ground.
Ground stabalising using the latest gps 5th june 08
As groundwork begins you can see that layer upon layer of soil, sand and lime is added to provide a solid base to construct on.. which is essential with this lowland marsh ground.
