Members of the Tunstall North Residents Association will be taking a petition to Stoke-on-Trent Cabinet this week which asks for the council to take urgent action over the derilct building on Summerbank Road.

The Tunstall  Residents Association, along with the Bankeyfields Residents Association have been facing many issues over the years because of the building from fly tipping, arson, gangs, dangerous behvaior with kids on the roof or inside Harry Hancocks.

Dot Matthews recently said "enough is enough" after drawing a blank with the council and the owner of the building who has been very slow at protecting and removing rubbish from his property.

Good luck to Dot, as she speaks out about the building and I hope the council will find it in themselves to help this community who have seen a steady decline in standards over past few years with errant landlords of both commercial properties and let houses.

Would love to know who dumped

Would love to know who dumped the tarmac around the back of the building and rolled it out with a roller would have been a nice job if they had finished it off the lads resurfacing Summerbank road would have been well impressed.
