If anyone can stretch their memory back to before the heat wave started we had a week of really bad winds.
During the last set of winds numerous trees in the area were blown over and to much surprise the finger print itself was torn in part from it's base.
Drainsfield the company behind the Alexandra Park complex promised on the 1st of May a speedy fix, and have delivered it this week.
Nice to have it back in working order.

I like the Shard so I am
I like the Shard so I am pleased it is repaired and looking good again. I am aware that lots of people think money should have been spent elsewhere but everyone deserves a treat now and then and I think of the Shard as a treat for Tunstall, I am not political and I do not want to upset anyone, I just wanted to say I like it and I am so pleased it as been fixed so quickly.
I am also going to add that this morning I have watched a young man with a dog and a little girl on a bike pick up all the rubbish around the park and judging by the time it took him I would say there must have been a lot of rubbish, well done to that bloke it just shows that people really do care about this estate.
I really like the thing and
I really like the thing and glad they fixed it so quick
