What a wonderfull we had at tunstall carnival,the weather was kind to us. Vanessa Bebbington has perfomed well,in spite of the micophone, wasnt working properly,but never mind it was a great day out for the family,by the way vanessa will be performing at longton carnival on the 28th August

Bankey Fields Forum

I have noticed that all the roundabouts on R.M.W have had their annual tidy up and the one on the estate has been left looking rather untidy. Does the maintenance of this roundabout get paid for out of the same budget set aside for the open-space or does this get done from a separate budget.

No Cold Calling Zone set up in Goldenhill/Sandyford

Suspicious callers at the door are set to be a thing of the past for the residents of a Stoke-on-Trent community.

A ‘No Cold Calling Zone’ has been set up in the Goldenhill and Sandyford areas of the city.

Neighbourhood police officers, together with representatives from Trading Standards and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, have worked together to set the scheme up.

A up and coming conference " A Future For Our Heritage" planned to identify potential heritage regeneration projects in North Staffordshire, will be taking place in . Urban Vision North Staffordshire wants to look at some of the area's redundant heritage assets and explore ways of bringing them back into sustainable use.

I have read some of the latest posts with great interest, one post however disturbs me, and that is all RAs get together as one voice, having been to many NHW conferences, which are run on general themes, tend to be hijacked by a small minority, to bring up personal matters, I would envisage that a meeting up of all RAs to be worse, and that nothing would get achieved.

Popular town centre pub the Sneyd Arm's owner Maureen Flowers, long time land lady of the pub for the past 19 years is calling it a day and is looking forward to retirement.

The Sneyd Arms Hotel will be sold at auction with a guide price of £675,000. The auction will be held at the pub on October 5th at 6pm.

MyTunstall became the 600th partner to join the RaceOnline 2012 scheme. As a partner, it's this sites responsibility now to help people in the area who don't have access to the internet the chances to use it.
